Bronze, Tin, Peat, Clay, Granite & Man, 10.30am, Ivybridge - follow the signs for the park and ride train station car park. The south moor is rich in history. Art Workshop – Exploring Animation, 10am-4pm, Ivybridge community College. Come and try all sorts of different animation techniques, using modelling materials and lots of different paper, card and objects to produce characters and backdrops for your own unique films. Free Food and Drink Event, 10.30am-4.30pm at Buckland Abbey, Yelverton. 40+ local food & drink producers will be showcasing their goods at this Free Food & Drink Devon Festival to be held in the region. Scarecrow Day, 11am-3pm, Parke Estate, Bovey Tracey. Make your own scarecrow! The winner of each session will win a prize and their scarecrow will work in the Walled Garden. Occombe Orchard Wassailing, 3.30pm-5.30pm, Occombe farm Preston Down Road Paignton TQ3 1RN. Join in a glass-jar lantern workshop, make mini toffee apples and apple crowns, followed by a lantern-lit musical procession to the orchard to scare away bad spirits and bring good luck. Bring a torch, willies, pans and spoons to make plenty of noise! Be sure to bring a mug along and help yourself from a bowl of apple juice. Lantern workshop 3.30pm-4.30pm, preparation for procession and refreshments 4.3pm-5.30pm. You must make a lantern to join in the procession. No booking required charge £3.50 per lantern.

Beginners’ Indoor Rock Climbing, 9.30am-12.30pm, Ivybridge Community College. Come and scale new heights. This is the perfect opportunity for you to learn the basic techniques and safety aspects of climbing. Two Day Plymouth Argyle Football Festival, 10am-3pm, Ivybridge Community College. This two-day festival will feature fun-filled football sessions, small sided games, skill development, competitions and merit awards. The course includes a free home game match ticket.
