Occombe Orchard Wassailing, 3.30pm-5.30pm, Occombe farm Preston Down Road Paignton TQ3 1RN. Join in a glass-jar lantern workshop, make mini toffee apples and apple crowns, followed by a lantern-lit musical procession to the orchard to scare away bad spirits and bring good luck. Bring a torch, willies, pans and spoons to make plenty of noise! Be sure to bring a mug along and help yourself from a bowl of apple juice. Lantern workshop 3.30pm-4.30pm, preparation for procession and refreshments 4.3pm-5.30pm. You must make a lantern to join in the procession. No booking required charge £3.50 per lantern.

Two Day Plymouth Argyle Football Festival, 10am-3pm, Ivybridge Community College.
