Ivybridge National Women's Register

Ivybridge NWR Members enjoy a mixed programme of researched and 'out of the hat' discussion topics plus the occasional speaker. We also organise a variety of social gatherings such as the Midsummer Walk, the Garden Party, Christmas Party and Post Christmas Dinner. Ivybridge Members may also get together to take part in other events such as literary and music festivals, theatre visits and garden visits.

We also frequently participate with other NWR groups in the South West in NWR events organised at national and area level such as the telephone treasure trail, themed debates, discussion lunches and workshops.

Membership: There is an annual national membership fee of £14 payable in January (pro rata if joining later in the year). the local fee is £1 per meeting part of which is paid to the hostess and the remainder used to fund social events and expenses.

Meetings: These are informal and usually held in Members' homes, roughly fortnightly, generally Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, occasionally Monday or Friday. they generally start at 8pm and finish around 10.30pm.
