The Welcome Group
The Welcome Group is a social group for bereaved people. They aim to get lonely, and newly bereaved people back into the community. By pooling their ideas, they enjoy a numerous variety of activities. They meet twice a month, which provides entertainment, games and fun.
They also go out to lunch, go on coach trips to the theatre, Pantomimes and holidays.
The cost is £1 per meeting. The meetings are held at St. Johns Church Hall, Blachford Road, Ivybridge from 2 to 4 p.m.
Trips and lunches are extra.
The age range is mostly 50-60yrs.
