Action for Children - new group starting in Ivybridge

posted 15 Feb 2019, 06:04 by Ivybridge Town Council

Grow by Action for Children are really excited to be working with Ivybridge Town Council to offer new services to parents with babies and toddlers from the Town Hall. We are inviting parents to come along and discover their perfect Grow experience at our free launch event on 1st March 2 – 3pm at Ivybridge Town Hall. Grow is all about supporting parents from bump to baby, into toddlerhood and beyond.

At Grow, we care about parents and their growing family.
Our unique Grow experiences nurture a baby or toddler’s wellbeing, as well as their own. Each fun experience – from bump to baby, baby massage, baby yoga, curious babies, curious toddlers and crafty kids – helps strengthen the precious bond between parent and child.

At our free launch event parents can discover how Grow can help them to navigate through early parenthood.
• Pick up a discount voucher for a Grow experience.
• Meet other parents and their children.
• Make a beautiful keepsake with your child.
• Discover the benefits of baby massage and baby yoga.
• Enjoy organic or Fairtrade refreshments.
• Enjoy our interactive storytelling session

Parents can contact Grow on 01271 371961 for more information or go to our website to book a place.

After the launch we are offering a weekly curious babies and curious toddler session which parents and babies or toddlers can explore their natural curiosity and let their imaginations run wild.

Grow curious babies offers scope for babies to explore their natural curiosity, in spite of their lack of mobility, through activities such as treasure baskets and sensory play. You’ll learn different ways to help your baby discover and gain insights into why they explore in the way they do.

Grow curious toddlers offers you greater understanding of how toddlers learn and play and provides a safe place for your toddler to develop their curiosity. Often play can be messy when children are discovering, so our experiences give your toddler maximum opportunity to explore and you don’t have to worry about the mess.
