Ivybridge Bowls Club

This is an outdoor, flat bowling green,
situated on the eastern side of the town.

It is uncertain when the first 'Bowling Club'
was formed in Ivybridge.  Records show it
has been in the same place for 80 years,
although it was founded by a group of
Ivybridge business men sometime before
that.

Membership is open to all, age range is
currently 18 to 80 plus. 

The club has teams in the Plymouth & District and The Gallery Leagues for the Ladies, and Plymouth & District for the men, travelling to venues both near and far.  The club also enjoy mixed friendly games, club competitions, and a weekly club night, when newcomers are encouraged to join in and get to know other members, but most of all to enjoy themselves.

Fees at present are £70 for the season for Adults and £35 for Juniors and Students.  This includes subscriptions and green fees from April to September.  No other charges are made.
