The Erme W.I.
Was formed in 1964 by a group of mostly younger women with children, who found it difficult to attend afternoon meetings of the existing Ivybridge W.I.
The Erme went from strength to strength and today a membership ranging from young mums to senior citizens, all contributing their ideas, talents and experience to make the institute such a friendly and interesting organisation.
New members are always welcome, and joining is a sure way to make new friends.
We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at Waterside House 7.30 p.m.
