Welcome to the Watermark - Ivybridge's inspirational new building with something for everyone!
A new state-of-art Library is situated on the ground floor and will be offering an imaginative and creative programme of reading activities and events for the community.
Next to the Library is an IT suite with 12 workstations and broadband access available for the community and businesses. ICT courses and other distance learning programmes will be provided. 10 computers will also be located within the main Library with wireless facilities on the ground floor.
The Watermark offers a large multi-purpose space for events and conferences and a smaller meeting room ideal for business or community group meetings.
The main conference space accommodates up to 200 people and can be sub-divided for smaller conferences or events if required. Retractable seating is designed into the space allowing for seated conference facilities or exhibition style events.
The venue is available for hire to individuals and organisations wishing to hold their own events such as Dinner Dances and Weddings with good quality catering facilities, refreshments and a licensed bar available. A range of catering options are available for your function and menus can be discussed with the Manager.
There will be a full and exciting programme of entertainment including weekly cinema, regular theatre, bands, community events, exhibitions and fairs.
On the 2nd floor 16 Business Units will be available, the size of each unit is 16 x 9m² equipped with appropriate data points for telephone and IT equipment.
Units are suitable for start-up businesses to grow and on an 'easy-in, easy-out' lease.
