Ivybridge Town Council is on the lookout for a proactive and creative Events & Projects Officer to join our brand-new Community Services team. In this exciting role, you'll take the lead in crafting a vibrant calendar of events and activities that will showcase the spirit of Ivybridge and its residents. From festivals and celebrations to innovative community projects, you'll be at the heart of what makes our town a fantastic place to live, work, and visit.

Your Role

As our Events & Projects Officer, you'll:

  • Design, plan, and deliver dynamic community events and festivals that reflect Ivybridge’s unique character.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Manager to identify new engagement opportunities.
  • Lead consultation exercises, contribute to strategic planning, and bring key projects to fruition.
  • Seek funding opportunities and build strong relationships with local organisations, businesses, and community groups.

This is a part time role working 20 hours per week with a salary scale of £28,163 - £30,060 pro-rata, plus Local Government Pension Scheme and free workplace car parking.
