Ivybridge Town Council and Miss Ivy Events bring you a fun and festive Christmas Market at Glanvilles Mill, Fore Street and Glanvilles Mill Car Park on Friday 24th November from 16:00 to 20:00
As we approach the festive period this year, what better than to visit your local shops open into the evening and a Christmas Market. For your delight, there'll be:
- Over 40 Christmas themed stalls, jam-packed with festive treats
- Ivybridge Methodist Church Advent Market
- Festive music with Rick the Stick, Nick of Time, Rock Choir and more!
- Award-winning comedy juggler Elfic with his side-splitting antics
- Christmas carousel rides
- Funtasia's snow globe and festive bouncy castles
- Festive stilt walkers
- Face painting
- Festive Punch & Judy Shows

Highways
Fore Street, Ivybridge will be closed from its junction with Erme Road to the end of the one way system outside the Golden Bridge takeaway from 2pm to 10pm on Friday 24 November.
The diversion route will be Erme Road > Blachford Road > Harford Road > Leonards Road > Marjorie Kelly Way.
The two way system at the bottom of Fore Street will remain open as normal.
Suspension of parking on Fore Street, Ivybridge from its junction with Erme Road to the end of the one way system outside the Golden Bridge takeaway from 1pm to 10pm on Friday 24 November.
Parking
Glanvilles Mill car park will be utilised for the event and will be unavailable for parking with the exception of disabled vehicles, taxis and EV charging vehicles from 11am until 10pm on Friday 24 November.
Other car parks available in the town are:
- Leonards Road car park - will be accessible via the normal exit route, marshals will be in attendance to guide you in and out.
- Erme Court car park - operates an ANPR system on a 24 hour basis, so if staying longer than the 2 free hours please use their app to pay for extra parking time.
- Harford Road car park - also available.
Toilets
The toilets in Glanvilles Mill car park will be open for the duration of the Ivybridge Christmas Festival (Pay on Entry 20p).
Waste
There will be extra waste bins available in the town, please endeavour to dispose of your waste in these or alternatively take it home.
Safety information
Missing Persons Point will be located in the Bridge, Glanvilles Mill car park.
The First Aiders vehicle will be located in the Glanvilles Mill car park.
Marshals will be wearing high visibility jackets and on hand to provide assistance with any queries.
